What has happened to the right wing in this country? It's all qannon, absurd conspiracies, pizzagate and the rest. That is a very clearly labeled photo of recipients of the 2001 Carnegie mlMedal of philanthropy. Meaning all of those people were called to a location in NY to receive an award for work they did in philanthropy. It doesn't in anyway imply they had a prior connection, or were best friends or are conspiring together. They all got an award on the dame day. It like even the least bit of critical thinking is abandoned for grasping at the absurd. Everytime I see stuff like this I think of the reporting of the people in SE Asia who were making boatloads of money creating fake news sites last election. One quote from his interview that sticks with me is he said he would just make stuff up, the more absurd the better - the more it would spread as long as it had a few trigger words in it. But always target Republicans, Democrats never share it, but Republican conspiracies is where the money is.
