I thought the chiplets were binned before getting placed onto the carrier silicon, so they wouldn't need to do the core fusing that Intel does?

- wmf 7y agoThere's no carrier silicon and I'm not sure what distinction you're making between binning and fusing. The only way to get 256 MB of cache is to also have 64 cores, the only way to get 192 MB is to have 48, etc.
