Great recommendation in general is to join Toastmasters, https://www.toastmasters.org/ https://www.toastmasters.org/ , who specialise in creating a friendly, supportive environment for members to improve their public speaking skills. They also do something called Table Topics, where you are called upon to talk for 2 minutes on a random question. Sounds scary, but is excellent practice if you do this every other week.
