absolutely. i also haven't had a personal car for years, instead renting, scootering, biking, mass-transiting, and ride-hailing. i'm just waiting for someone in the on-demand transportation sector to realize that the killer app for self-driving is not 100% level 5 autonomous driving, but a service that can self-drive to you from a cheap parking lot/structure and return to it after a trip. (to be fair, i think many do realize this and are working on it already.)
