- pierremenard 6y agoIs that equivalent to `pbcopy` and `pbpaste` on OSX?
- xzel 6y agoThose commands aren't exactly the same. These copy what you have selected. You can use xclip just like pbcopy/pbpaste though. Xclip has a few more features and you can get it on mac via brew and nix iirc.
- hoistbypetard 6y agoThe usefulness of xclip is the thing that's currently preventing me from accepting fedora's urging to switch my default session to wayland.
- opan 6y agoI've been on Wayland for over a year and I have had a good experience with wl-clipboard (has the wl-copy and wl-paste commands).
- hoistbypetard 6y agoI will have to try again. Last time I attempted, wl-paste did not work in my terminal, which fully killed it for me.
