Just read Carlo Ravelli's book The order of time, highly recommend. It argues that the change in entropy is the only equation of fundamental physics that knows any difference between past and future. It's the equation for time's arrow.
- madhadron 6y agoThere are a few other asymmetries, such as the time asymmetry implied by CP violation in things like kaon decay.

- qnsi 6y agoSorry my physics are lousy, but what about finding information on the quantum level? Can’t that also distinguish past from present?
