One thing I haven’t seen listed yet that is important to personal happiness: “What does your change process look like?” Do they have boards and paperwork? Pull requests and code? Engineer just executes? Do they make technical decisions at the team level or require further meetings / boards, etc. Tells you a lot about the company both in terms of maturity but also in terms of culture.
