I wonder if ruby could eventually officially migrate to Graalvm
- riffraff 7y agothat is unlikely, matz mentioned a few times how adopting something developed elsewhere as a core vm was something he didn't want to do. IIRc the reasoning goes along the lines of not wanting the risk of something being discontinued by a third party and having to shoulder the extra labor of supporting something with which the devs are not familiar.
- The_rationalist 7y agoIt's open source, they could get familiar with it and not depend on anybody?
