Hey, thanks for your comment! This definitely makes sense. I just wonder how they are able to gather this location data. From my naive point of view, most people have their phones on standby in their pockets with GPS turned off most of the time while they go shopping. And even if it is turned on they are probably using Whatsapp or Insta. So, in a real life scenario, what circumstances would have to come together for Foursquare to successfully collect data?
