How to use Jitsi Meet, an open source Zoom alternative
- bradknowles 7y agoUnfortunately, on iOS, they do not currently support using the browser instead of the app. For people who have all or most of their entire family on iOS, but who refuse to install yet another video meeting app, this becomes a blocker. Browsers work fine on desktop OSes (well, not Safari on macOS), and maybe also on Android. But iOS is a weird beast here, as is Safari. And MobileSafari on iOS is a doubly weird beast. Yes, they are working on getting Safari working on macOS, but I think they are further away from getting MobileSafari on iOS working. So, here we are.
