I stayed in pretty decent hotels in Paris, when I was younger and couldn't quite afford the niceties that come with age and affluence. You can run a decent, clean shop with nice personal service irrespective of the star rating. Anything I hear (and see, i.e. in Malaysia) about OYO, though, is pretty horrendous.
