What competitors are shipping their tablets by March 11? Last I saw for RIM was April. Loaded question perhaps, but the "iPad killers" based on Honeycomb aren't out en masse yet.
- Pewpewarrows 16y agoThis is a tablet that has to stand against the next entire year of competitors, at Apple's current release schedule. It's not even caught up to the Xoom in terms of hardware specs. Like the iPhone before it, it'll be tough competition against the wave of competitors that have faster release schedules.

- marklabedz 16y agoFor the general public, it doesn't have to keep up with hardware specs when the experience already out-paces it.
- Pewpewarrows 16y agoThe general public doesn't buy Apple products by way of rational decision-making. They buy it because it's Apple and to be part of the community and culture of Apple fans.

Highly skilled techies are largely immune to usability problems, so buying on specs may be rational for us.
