Doesn't the amount you can offset from donations have a fairly small limit? That's what my accountant told me, but maybe they're wrong.
Also, of he's giving the money to his LLC, is this deductible at all?
- gnicholas 7y agoThere are various limits, up to 60% of AGI (for cash donations). The limits are lower if you're donating appreciated assets, or if you're giving to a private foundation (where the donor would have more control than giving to a generic 501(c)(3)).
