Our Squeezebox is still going as well, but with most using iOS devices at home, we’re not able to control it anymore because the app was discontinued. Does anyone know of a solution for iPhones?
- bcrack 7y agoPossibly the best solution would be an installation of the Logitech Media Server (LMS) on a raspberry pi (e.g. piCorePlayer [0]) or an already available home server. LMS can then handle all squeezeboxes (or squeezelite installations on other hardware) on the same network and allows control via a web interface. - aurea 7y agoThanks, I have an unused Raspberry Pi, I will try this out.
- davewongillies 6y agoIts not cheap but iPeng[0] is the most up to date squeezebox app for iOS [0] https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ipeng/id767266886 https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ipeng/id767266886
- dementik 6y agoForget the native app, just use material-ui plugin for web UI. Works quite well on mobile.
