  Not really, but imagine that one senator in the US says they like to support UBI, there is still a lot of work that has to go through to actually make it work and has to have support behind it. General consensus in Spain is that this proposal don't have enough support to actually go through, but the world media is reporting like it's already been passed and will for sure happen. It hasn't.

  TLDR Version: Yes. It is basically a UBI. But they also don't have a firm date for a rollout. My speculation: For one, it's really just talk until something happens. Also, I'm thinking if not for the eye-opening shock that is coronavirus, a lot of things would not be happening that are probably going to happen now. No one can really say with authority what the world will look like when this is over.
