I just built my first mechanical keyboard which I wanted to do for years but never jumped shipped - The soldering scared me.
It was easier and more fun than expected!
I also just bought a house and am looking into putting drywall in the garage.
- amatecha 7y agoNice, I've built a few keyboards now -- first I practiced making a couple "gherkin" keyboards [0] for fun and then an alps64 [1] using some Alps SKCM Cream Damped switches I harvested from a dead Apple Extended Keyboard II. Probably my favorite build!!
