Boris Johnson admitted to hospital with coronavirus
- lapnitnelav 7y agoThe irony on this one is pretty strong. I bet that merely a few weeks ago, he and his government were planning to find ways to dismantle the NHS, and now here we are. Poetic justice? Karma?
- DanBC 7y agoThey're still trying to dismantle the NHS and we've seen stories with behind the scenes tory briefings appearing in recent The Telegraph and The Sunday Times editions. The Telegraph: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/04/03/inflexibility-lumbering-nhs-country-has-had-shut/ https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/04/03/inflexibility-lu... The Sunday Times: https://twitter.com/matthewlesh/status/1246894355849322515/photo/1 https://twitter.com/matthewlesh/status/1246894355849322515/p... Both of these repeated the meme of "centrally controlled NHS == Bad, decentralised, private provision == good".
- Pedrit0 7y agoKarma certainly. But nothing poetic as his life is at stake.
- danielfoster 7y agoHe looked pretty rough two days ago: https://www.instagram.com/tv/B-hIuKPgKcd/?igshid=3dy9zubvqgs2 https://www.instagram.com/tv/B-hIuKPgKcd/?igshid=3dy9zubvqgs...
- ag56 7y agoBoris Johnson is someone who can get tested at his residence, implying this is quite a bit worse than stated. I hope I’m wrong, I’m on day 12 myself and only now beginning to feel better. Struggling to breathe is terrifying. Regardless of political leanings I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
- Havoc 7y ago>implying this is quite a bit worse than stated. Well he isn't exactly 25 y/o
- sudoaza 7y agoSo much for generating herd immunity
- Pedrit0 7y agoAs a European I am not a great fan of him, but I sincerely wish him to get through this and a good recovery.
