LBRY, a Blockchain-Based Decentralized Alternative to YouTube
- Proven 7y agotldr: Yet another coin. From their site: > Do you use BitTorrent? Imagine getting paid to seed files into the network. Yes I did imagine that and wondered what happens if I end up hosting CP or similar illegal content which wouldn't be looked upon favorably by my local authorities and I couldn't find a good answer to that, so getting paid for hosting this crap isn't on my list of top priorities. Almost no one wants to pay anything for privacy. That's why YouTube is 100 times bigger than all the alternatives combined. But they will struggle with finding people willing to host content even more than with finding paying customers. Next coin please.
