Markdown has been a godsend. It’s just what I wanted. Something text based, where I can sorta control some formatting, but isn’t tag heavy like HTML. I just need it to format a few things, to make it easier for myself to consume later. The most useful for me is actually the syntax highlighted code blocks. I use it mostly for brain storming, planning, and scratch work.
