Could someone who is upvoting this explain why it's newsworthy, either in general or on HN? I read the article, but I don't know why I should care. The spokesperson's explanation that "A detailed analysis demonstrated conclusively that it would be more cost effective to own the aircraft directly" seems reasonable - all but guaranteed - for a company with as many very expensive employees as Goldman has.
