Zoom is lying in their marketing AND in their recent clarification. As the article is saying, they always have the decryption key on the server side, so they always have the capability to decrypt the stream. Given the current state of affairs I wouldn't have minded Zoom not being end-to-end encrypted, but by lying about it, my trust in Zoom plummeted.
