At first I thought this was a "how-to" brag from bird themselves. Based on what they actually did, would you have been surprised? Please put a little conscious effort into reminding yourself that the way people perform in difficult times is how we should judge character. This doesn't mean not doing hard things, it means a focus on compassion, empathy and aspects outside your own immediate environment. The simple act of truly giving a sh!t gets you a long way towards the ideal.
