Netflix has literally never dropped support of a 4K/HDR set-top box or television. Ever.
- Causality1 7y agoThey will soon enough. I was unlucky enough to own both a Roku XD and a Vizio TV they dropped support for. Why should I have any faith at all they won't decide to sunset everything on the market today after 8K gets popular?
- Mindwipe 7y agoThey'll drop devices eventually, but that's likely after a decade. The manufacturer will drop security support a long, long time before Netflix will.
- Causality1 7y agoThey dropped support for Vizio tvs that were only four years old.
