Probably not. The iPhone SE is rumored to basically be an updated iPhone 8, which does not have a headphone jack. The iPhone 7 which preceded it did not have a headphone jack either.
That said, I wouldn't completely discount it as a possibility. If Apple removes 3D Touch that could give them some extra room, and Apple does still sell iPads and an iPod touch with a headphone jack, so it's conceivable they might decide to put one on the SE as well.
- tgv 7y agoThe iPhone 8 comes with a cable to connect 3.5mm headphone jacks, but it takes the place of the power adapter.
- Rolcol 7y agoThe 3.5mm adapter is no longer included for free.
- kennywinker 7y agoI was really bummed out by the loss of the headphone jack for a long time. Three things have made that situation better: 1. You can get 3rd party adaptors that also supply power. 2. Wireless charging pads! This is perfect for when your phone is plugged in next to speakers. 3. AirPods. I still use wired headphones when I'm doing audio stuff (b/c of latency and sound quality), but for every day listening they are great.
- JensRex 7y ago>extra room That excuse as been thoroughly debunked, since Apple no longer includes a headphone port on iPads either. It was purely a financial move to sell their own wireless headphones, after they bought the "Beats by Dre" brand name.
