Well, those of us trying to warn people as early as January were met with not only disbelief, but generally ridicule. This pandemic is a cultural failure. Humans in developed nations have gotten too comfortable and too dependent on their government. No general anticipation of severe disaster. We need to move the pendulum a couple notches back toward individualism, and I think that's going to happen naturally if we're about to experience Great Depression 2.0.
