Would love to give companies that try to do good a stage [1] where all readers from Hacker News can profit from. I tried to make a preselection of companies that do not try to make a profit from offering a discount. I put them all in 3 categories: no (they don't drive you into a paid account), maybe, and yes. This way you can directly see what the consequences will be when using the discount. Please let me know if a company has been put in the wrong category. Let's fight this virus together Hacker News! Can you add Autodesk Services on the list: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/simplecontent/content/extended-access-program-for-cloud-collaboration-products.html https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/simplecont... Note: The goal of this program is not to convert customers into paid users of these products. Leveraging our existing product trial experience is the most effective way to deliver this program to you as quickly as possible. You may receive in-product or email communications prompting you to subscribe to the participating products during the length of this program. We are working on pausing these messages. We acknowledge that this is not an ideal experience, but we are acting as quickly as possible to support our customers.

Do you think it should be restricted to SaaS? I know of some desktop software with free or discounted licensing that I'd like to share too

As long as it helps people running a initiative against COVID-19.

You might want to compare the list that Forbes put out a few days ago along the same lines: https://www.forbes.com/sites/martingiles/2020/03/19/free-software-for-businesses-and-schools-covid19 https://www.forbes.com/sites/martingiles/2020/03/19/free-sof... It also looks like you are including tracking in many of your links - are you monetizing this?
- AdriaanvRossum 7y ago
Not monetizing it, just showing the companies where this traffic is coming from.

  Thanks for sharing that list!
