Waiting for systemd-kernel

  I’m waiting for systemd-browser and systemd-Adblock myself. And oh, systemd-mpd too since music playing can and should be done by my init process.

    I agree with the sentiment of your comment But to be fair, most of these systemd-[something] (sub)projects are part of "systemd", but not the systemd init system, which are different, apparently.

    Isn't systemd-smtpd a realistic idea when smtpd can be considered a core part of a system? But for that I also want systemd-spamd and systemd-imapd.

  Little-known things that are actually on the TODO list for systemd include: * UUIDs instead of process IDs * a "systemctl top" * closer integration with GNOME Terminal, in particular its PTY helper * several PAM tweaks that, taken together, I suspect will eventually lead to a PAM replacement
