The COVID-19 crisis and stay-home orders have turned a lot of people into involuntary celibates. It would just be adding insult to injury to put all of them on the no-fly list, and pointless because no one is traveling anyway.
- krapp 7y ago"incel" doesn't refer merely to anyone who is "involuntarily celibate", but to a specific social and political movement, as clearly indicated in the article. I've become "involuntarily celibate" under those terms but I haven't spontaneously adopted the violent misogyny and hatred that incels embody as a result.
