- hmahncke 7y ago(I’m not the OP) My experience was that 1.1.1.1 didn’t interact well with captive.apple.com so I had a lot of confusing experiences on planes and airports, and eventually had to stop using it.

- therealmarv 7y agoOp here. No, never reported it. But I think I've read somewhere (this is only unvalidated speculation now) that Google DNS and regular DNS do more fallbacks and are working also with not well configured DNSes where as Cloudflare is more strict but I don't have time to validate that. For me it's easier to just switch my DNS and go on.
