Micro Center here in the states has you give them your phone number and they text you when you can come in. The one by me doesn’t even let people queue up and wait there - you have to go somewhere else while waiting.
- celticninja 7y agothat's a great idea even if it just means people can sit in their vehicles outside the store.
- johannes1234321 7y agoAnd the store owner gets the phone numbers of their customers and ca at least roughly map it to a set of sales from that time frame. If they survive this allows nice marketing in future. But yeah, pragmatic solution.
- djsumdog 7y agoMicrocenter is already terrible about sucking up all consumer information they can. When I check out with a credit card it shows an address from three apartments before in another state .. not updating it.
