The most striking experimental result here – with obvious implications for public health, if it turns out to be replicable – is that cats can be infected by SARS-CoV-2, and transmit the virus via respiratory droplets.
The full title of this preprint is “Susceptibility of ferrets, cats, dogs, and different domestic animals to SARS-coronavirus-2”, which is too long for an HN submission, so I truncated it.
