I work in tech in a non-coding discipline. I was reading this article thinking, "Are there really that many people out there that you need to separate the good hires from the average hires?" Every time I've interviewed it is hard enough finding a single competent hire at all, never mind trying to grade hires to separate multiple seemingly good candidates.
