Short version: Zoom video is encrypted to external attackers but not to Zoom (the company) itself.
This is important because the company could be compelled to release such videos if subpoena'ed, or they could also simply be hacked.
- president 7y agoOr provided to governments as per local laws and regulations. Very concerning given how many companies are trusting their internal secrets to Zoom.
