Someone sold them a bill of goods about 'hotel' type desks. These things are a three foot cattle stall, not even a wall around it. Nothing permanent about the work space. I can get a 32G mac just ordering it at work. A desktop... well that would require a dozen VPs to sign off on it. Argh.
