My wife is just like that. She can't deal with conflict or opposing views. Her mother and father are limited imitations of human personalities. Somehow we get on together but our families are so different. In her family emotions outside of an accepted range are verboten. Growing up in my family was the exact opposite and emotion ruled everything. Neither are healthy.
