Managers and executives.
1. Cheaper rent because you need less space
2. Easier to look over shoulders and on to computer monitors
Managers (especially product managers) delude themselves into thinking this spurs collaboration and creativity and productivity.
- robk 7y agoAs a former pm I can't think of a single colleague who loved open plan. We at best tolerated but I think every one of us would have been a happy recipient of an office!
