I am not sure if Sam or anyone would have expected this to happen in the near future?
- snazz 7y agoIt has nowhere near a 50% mortality rate, luckily.
- mdonahoe 7y agoSam seems preoccupied with a weaponized virus rather than a natural mutation. Gates had a 2015 TED talk about “the next epidemic” Hopefully we will be more prepared for the next one. Covid-19’s mortality is much lower than 50%, so in some sense this is a warm up for the big one that Sam fears.
