- cookie_monsta 7y agoAnything by Vonnegut is worth a look
- pengaru 7y agoThere are a bunch of short earlier works when he was writing for something like Women's Home Journal to pay the bills that one wouldn't go wrong skipping IMHO.
- cookie_monsta 7y agoHaha. Ok - probably some of his primary school poetry isn't required reading either ;)
- JacobDotVI 7y agoPlayer Piano is such a good read today - puts all of automation fears and UBI arguments in the context of these are the same fears we have with every new technology.
- JKCalhoun 7y agoI came to "Player Piano" after having read a half dozen other Vonnegut books. It clearly shows him at his earliest — trying to find his voice.
