Find the time to read Vonnegut.
- elorant 7y agoI read Galapagos and it was freaking awful. One of the worst books I've ever read.
- Poems 7y agoI am a huge Vonnegut fan and just read Galápagos last month. It wasn’t one of his best, but I still really enjoyed it. Part of my enjoyment of Vonnegut comes from his writing style. I just love how he writes, no matter the story.
- topaz0 7y agoMy favorite Vonnegut was Bluebeard.
- karatestomp 7y agoThat and Deadeye Dick are the two outside his big, famous works (Slaughterhouse 5 and Cat’s Cradle being the big two, followed probably by Breakfast of Champions) that I like best. Bluebeard in particular manages to cover most of the themes and ideas from the rest of his books all in one, which doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better than the rest but does make it interesting.
- Poems 7y agoCat’s Cradle has been my favorite book of all time since I found it in high school.
- bob818 7y agoI liked the "Mother Night" movie with Nick Nolte. I'll have to finally get around to reading the book this year.
