With any luck people will get an overdose having finally watched all the good content on netflix (nobody is filming anything currently!) and run outside the minute this is over, never to go online again. Me personally, I'm already to hike the AT.
Lets be real, for all the good the internet has done & given us, its actually destroying our society in fairly fast order for comparatively little gain
- telesilla 7y agoI've been using this time to help my loved ones learn new skills, such as photo editing, design, language skills. Everyone I know has seen improvements in their general computer skills. If Netflix could branch into tutorials the world could become a beautiful place.

- rohitb91 7y agoNot sure if I'd say that the internet is destroying society but uncritical consumption of information on the internet combined with excess use that goes against what's good for the body biologically is bad for humanity.
- travisporter 7y agoAT? Actual TV?
- yial 7y agoAppalachian Trail, I believe from context.
- majkinetor 7y agoNo. What will happen is that much more people will understand that Internet != Netflix/Youtube.
- veggieburglar 7y agoI just got laid off for the first time in a decade, and I’m itching to get out on a long backpacking trip. Having to stay inside is driving me nuts right now!
