- jmalicki 7y agoThe US sells lots of arms to, for instance, splinter terrorist groups that are not separate countries - including the Taliban! Over the long term it's been the leading state sponsor of terrorism! This isn't trying to call Taiwan terrorist, but if the US will arm the Taliban or Contras, why would it not be allowed to arm Taiwan as a separatist group?
