As a conflicting anecdote, I’m a consultant working for a large vendor and all of my clients are now suddenly WFH and the only people who don’t like it are the managers. All the engineers I’ve talked to have said they’re way more productive without side conversations and walk-ups constantly. I can say my work schedule has gotten a lot busier without even taking on new projects or clients, my clients just seem to have a lot more time to work than they did before.
