My only reasons for sticking with MacBook's
- The OS - I don't really feel it which is great because I want to focus on my work.
- The quality - like the touch bar, I can work a lot with it and I forget about it, it's big and very useful. Excellent screen, lightweight, 2 usbc are good enough for me for everything.
- It's light.
- In any way I stick with MacBook Pro 2017 16 GB RAM 512SSD costs today around $1500 and it's a great machine for a software developer. More RAM/Disk would be better but for now it's perfect.
