I'd like this to be independently verified. There were a lot of comments on the other threads that "Of course Zoom was sending data to Facebook" because they're using Facebook's SDK. It made it seem like such data leaks were inevitable, when apparently they aren't.

    Now I feel dumb. I completely forgot that connection, and skipped over the blatant “Motherboard, Tech by Vice” in the title. It’s been a long week... Don’t mind me, just fixing that mistake.
