Ask HN: Python Meet up in KC

I'm interested in getting a KC group of Python Artisans together to discuss Python projects, and to learn how to effectively use the language for web, analytics, and automation. In my mind, this wouldn't be another meet up, but a learning session with a bias towards action. Anyone interested? Things I'd like to do: 1. Programming competitions using Python 2. Create benchmarks for Python frameworks and understand there differences b/w other web frameworks 3. Discussing projects worked on using the language. 4. Demystifying python semantics and syntax to newbies 5. Identifying issues w/ language or frameworks and contribute to open source projects.
