Exactly. Apple may just want to replicate the ios Appstore experience on the new Macs and collect the 30% rent on _all_ software to be installed in them - that's what I said I will run away from. Technically ARM is just another CPU, so compiling stuff to it is not a technical problem although an opportunity for Apple to get greedy and call it "the most secure OS ever" :-|
