I wonder if people in the US realize that when they hear the number "two trillion" they should think "$10,000 per tax payer".

- m0zg 7y agoThat'd be misleading though. Much of that $2T is comprised of loans.

- wool_gather 7y agoThat figure only goes up when large numbers of people drop off the tax rolls, whether because they succumb to COVID or knock-on effects.
