I get disappointed when cool stuff like this is made with <canvas> instead of <svg> because I want to look at the DOM, and understand how it was made, but I can't.
That being said, this is a great visualization.
- freedmand 7y agoThanks for the feedback. I love SVG and actually iterated with that at first, but getting the site to be zippy and responsive required using WebGL
- JMTQp8lwXL 7y agoIt's not a criticism of choosing the canvas element, that is completely reasonable. All I'm saying is, there could be better tooling for inspecting them and how they work.
