Our tool Construct 3 runs in the browser, and has no programming required event blocks and Javascript support:

Mix of events/Javascript in it's simplest form looks like:

Documentation for Javascript in Construct 3 can be found here:

We're doing special offers for education due to the pandemic:

A key feature for schools is granting access to Construct 3's full features with access codes, meaning students do not need to proivde us with any login details/emails etc which is popular in educational institutes:

- k__ 7y agoPretty slick. I was a bit put off by the subscription model, but that includes a backend service for multiplayer games? Nice. What are the limits?
- TomGullen 7y agoMore information on the signalling server we provide can be found here: https://www.construct.net/en/make-games/manuals/construct-3/plugin-reference/multiplayer https://www.construct.net/en/make-games/manuals/construct-3/... We also have a build service for paid plans that allows for easy building of your games into deployable signed APKs. If the subscription is a deal breaker, a lot of users do use our free edition which has a 50 event limit if you use it logged in to a Construct.net account (and a few other limits).
- k__ 7y agoCool! Can I simply check-in a project into GitHub? Are there any special file-types (beside sounds and graphics) that would make this problematic? Can I use my favorite editor to write the code?
- exdsq 7y agoHey! I worked with Construct 2 for a while - it's really cool :) If people are looking for a browser based tool to write games, check these guys out!
- TomGullen 7y agoThanks for the recommendation :) Much appreciated!
- ngold 7y agoGlad to see construct 3 is out. Built a full html5 metrovania game in under 100 lines of code. Very nice.
