Q: how accurate are the covid19 reported deaths? My guess is that they measure immune cells from blood (cytokine storm), but they can't know for sure if covid19 was they cause of death. It means we have an upper bound of deaths.
- watwut 7y agoNot necessary. People who die before being tested are not tested in many places.
- hcknwscommenter 7y agoNone of the numbers you see from CDC, hopkins, etc. are guessing on deaths. They are only counting confirmed COVID deaths. It is possible this is a lower bound, but if any number right now is trustable right now, it's deaths.
